AmCham Nepal and AmCham Mauritius had a letter of cooperation exchange program promoting US investments in their respective nations. AmCham Nepal Chairperson Mr. Nirmal Kaji Shrestha and AmCham Mauritius President Mr. Ravin Lama have signed the letter of cooperation. Founding Chairperson of AmCham Nepal, Mr. Ajit Bikram Shah and Executive Board Members Mr. Aakash Golchha, Mr, Manish Thapa and Mr. Samratha Mogha witnessed the signing ceremony.
This strategic collaboration aims to boost U.S. investments in Nepal and Mauritius and open new avenues for Nepali and Mauritian businesses in the U.S. market. It was productive meeting in order to start a strategic partnership to collaborate for the two organizations to share strengths, experience, technologies, methodologies and resources to pursue activities that advance these common goals specifically to facilitate the US based enterprise willing to expand their business in Mauritius and in Nepal. The investors in each of their nation could explore an opportunity for a business integration and may invite each other to their respective nation to showcase their business models.

The discussions took place around enhancing U.S. Investment in joint efforts to attract and increase U.S. business investments in both nations. The Collaborative Innovation such as driving innovation and fostering a business environment through best practices and strategic activities and mutual growth through participation in cross business activities that promote integration and cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting concluded with the exchange of the Business Climate Index (ABCI) report from AmCham Mauritius and the Annual Report from AmCham Nepal. Together, we are paving the way for a prosperous future filled with opportunities and collaboration across borders.
