Prosper Africa and Future Africa have partnered to launch the Accelerate Africa program, which aims to provide intensive guidance, mentorship, and resources for early-stage African entrepreneurs. The 7-week pre-accelerator program will prepare entrepreneurs for global scale through accelerator programs such as Y-Combinator, 500 Startups, and Techstars. The program will help position these entrepreneurs to raise more investment funding and build more robust startups.

Future Africa is one of five African asset managers partnering with the U.S. Government under the new Prosper Africa Catalytic Investment Facility. This partnership delivers on the U.S. Government’s commitment to increasing investment in Africa, with Prosper Africa committing $170 million in the Summit’s Deal Room to increase U.S. investment in Africa and African exports to the United States by $2 billion in the next five years. The application window for interested founders has opened on May 3, 2023, and will close on May 19, 2023.
